Push-back Pallet Racking

Push-back pallet racking is a high-density solution and allows for each lane to accommodate a different SKU. The system has a high cargo density similar to the Drive-in rack, but saving more time in loading and unloading. The forklifts do not have to run deep into the racking.

Push-Back pallet racking includes 8 basic details:

Upright frames: Bearing for the whole system.
Horizontal braces: Dispersing force between the upright frames.
Load beams: Connecting between 2 upright frames and is the place to put pallets.
Footplates: Connecting the upright frames to the floor and keeping the system steady.
Column protectors: Protecting the upright frames from the collisions.
First cart: The cart at the bottom helps the pallets drive forward when they are placed onto.
Second cart: The cart above the first cart helps the pallet drive forward when the others are placed onto the first cart.
Pallet stop: Preventing the pallets from sliding off the racking.

Product characteristics

Pallet rails feature telescopic carts that assist in safely moving pallets inside the shelf

- The system is formed by a vertically assembled steel structure, saving maximum floor space.

- High storage efficiency similar to Drive In racks

- The stroller has four wheels to reduce friction and operate safely to avoid collision situations.

- Conforming to the LIFO import and export principle, forklifts import and export goods from one side quickly.

Operating principle

- Push Back Rack is equipped with carts operating on the same rail. The rails are slightly angled toward one side of the rack in order to take advantage of gravity.

- When a forklift sets the pallet onto the cart, it drives forward and causes the pallet to bump the next pallet, causing the entire row of pallets to roll backwards.

- The pallets stage themselves forward when removing another from the front position
